Drug General Information

Kamagra is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor indicated for treatment of such problems as erectile Dysfunction (ED) and impotence. It works by stimulating the blood flow into the penis. It is not intended for women or children.

This drug does not protect you from sexually transmitted diseases, so make sure you use a condom or any other contraceptives.

You mustn’t take this drug if you are also taking nitroglycerin or other nitrates as certain very serious side effects are likely to occur. If you are not sure what drugs belong to these groups or you are currently taking them consult your doctor before taking Kamagra to learn about any risks involved.

If you are currently taking other drugs for impotence, azole antifungals, cimetidine, erythromycin, mibefradil, rifamycins, high blood pressure medicines, or delavirdine inform your doctor about that as in this case additional monitoring of your condition might be required.

Medicine taking

Kamagra is to be taken orally from 30 minutes to 4 hours before the sexual activity (optimally – 1 hour). Do not take this drug more than once a day.

Precautions

It is not recommended to take this medicine if you ever had an allergic reaction to it. Do not exceed the dose prescribed by your doctor without first checking with him.

Do not start taking any other drugs before consulting your doctor. Before taking this drug inform your doctor of any recent medical conditions such as heart attack, stroke, or life-threatening irregular heartbeats (within the last six months); a history of heart failure; coronary artery disease; angina; have high/low blood pressure; liver or kidney problems; blood problems or a bleeding disorder; stomach ulcer; physical deformity of the penis (Peyronie's disease); tumor of the bone marrow or allergies. Some of these might be the direct contraindications while other conditions might mean you require a dosage adjustment or additional monitoring of your condition.

This drug might cause dizziness or vision changes; it’s not recommended to get engaged into any hazardous activities or activities that require fast reaction unless you are sure about the way your body reacts to Kamagra. It is recommended to stand up and sit down carefully during the period of treatment to avoid the above mentioned effects. The use of alcohol might lessen your ability to react quickly and cause undesirable side effects. Avoid excessive use of alcoholic beverages during the period of treatment.

Possible Side Effects

The side effects are usually mild and tend to go away within a few hours; they are usually the result of taking a higher dose. The most common side effects include headache, flushing of the face, light-headedness or an upset stomach. Several other side effects might occur such as severe dizziness, fainting, chest pain or nausea.

Contact your doctor immediately in case of experiencing an erection that lasts for more than 4 hours as this might cause damage to your penis if not treated urgently.

Storage

This drug is to be stored at room temperature (77° F) in a hermetic container, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

Overdose

The symptoms of Kamagra overdose are not known but might include severe dizziness, fainting, or prolonged erection. If an overdose is suspected, contact the doctor immediately.

Do not share this drug with those to whom it was not prescribed. It is indicated for men only and should be taken under your doctor’s supervision.
